Meet the Team
At We Thrive Counseling, our team is made up of compassionate, skilled professionals who are deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive space for healing. We believe meaningful change begins within trusting relationships, and our counselors strive to meet each client with empathy, respect, and genuine care.
Each member of our team brings unique training, experience, and perspective, while sharing a common foundation in person‑centered, trauma‑informed care. We work collaboratively to support children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and take meaningful steps toward lasting resilience.
We understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. From your very first interaction, our goal is to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and supported. By honoring each individual’s story and focusing on small, intentional steps, we help clients build confidence, emotional well‑being, and healthier relationships.
At We Thrive Counseling, we believe that healing one person can strengthen families and impact generations. Our team is honored to walk alongside you on your journey, offering thoughtful, compassionate care every step of the way.

Isabel Grueneich, MS
Mental Health Therapist
Hello! I’m Isabel Grueneich, and I’m happy you’re here!
The desire I have toward meeting people where they are, sitting with them through emotional difficulties, and helping them to facilitate growth within the therapeutic setting has been present in my life for as long as I can remember. In 2023, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and human services at Valley City State University. Throughout the time I spent at VCSU, my passion and drive toward becoming a therapist grew stronger. This led me to earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern State University in 2026.
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals facing emotional difficulties, including (but not limited to) trauma, feelings associated with chronic illness(es), anger, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and grief. Along with my experience as a mental health therapist, I’ve also supported/worked with several populations in different professional capacities. The lessons and knowledge gained from my education, occupational background, and personal challenges have shaped me into the therapist I am today. My approach is specific to each client to best fit their therapeutic needs.
Therapeutic Approach:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Integrated Therapeutic Interventions:
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Existential Therapy
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
Person-Centered Therapy (PCT)
